38. I decided not to mark what I plan on eventually reading, because my reading intentions don't seem to matter much. What would be interesting though is the number of books on this list that I have purchased with large intent to read them, and still haven't. I find it interesting that I recall reading at least a few of these around 9 or 10 years old. Others that are "classics" I've just never gotten around to reading.
